I have two fresh from the box Morewood Makulu frames. The medium I would recommend for people 5'9" to about 6'1". If you are under 5'9" go with the small with the Fox RC4. The frame has been in storage for a year but the Cane Creek shock is newer. The low 2.3:1 ratio allows for super low spring weights. Chances are you will be on a 200# or 250# spring. The medium frame has a 300# on it but you would have to be a BIG guy to ride that.
The derailleur hanger has never been installed. The headtube and bottom bracket have been faced and are ready to build up. The only difference between the 2011 and the 2012 Makulu is that the axle is now a X12 instead of using the custom Maxle threaded axle that the 2011 comes with. So you can save your self $1,000 by going with the older frame/color.
